A budget app for couples that keeps personal spending personal
Monya lets couples and families keep one shared budget for rent, groceries and bills, while each person’s own spending stays private. Both partners record expenses by voice or screenshot in a few seconds, from any bank and in any currency, and one Premium subscription covers the whole family.

How sharing works
- One partner creates a family in the app and sends an invite.
- The other joins with the invite code.
- Each of you marks which accounts or expenses are for the family, for example the joint card and groceries.
- Family entries appear in a shared report for both of you; everything else stays visible only to its owner.
Why couples argue less with this setup
Most money arguments start with one person not knowing what the other spent. When shared spending is visible to both without asking, and personal spending isn’t anyone else’s business, the monthly “where did it all go” conversation gets short. Recording by voice matters here too: the partner who hates typing still logs the groceries.
FAQ
Does my partner need their own subscription?

We use different banks, does that matter?
No. Monya doesn’t connect to banks, so each of you can use any bank, in any country.
