MonyaA budget app for money in more than one currency
Monya keeps cards, cash and savings in dozens of currencies in one budget. Each account stays in its own currency, purchases are recorded in the currency the account was charged, and reports and budgets show totals in your main currency at current exchange rates. You record spending by voice (“dinner 1,200 baht from the Wise card”), with a screenshot of any banking app, or from bank notifications on Android.

How Monya handles currencies
- Each account keeps its currency. A euro card stays in euros, a baht account in baht; balances never drift because of conversion.
- Pay in one currency, from an account in another. Monya records what the account was charged and keeps the original amount in the note.
- Totals in the currency you choose. Monthly reports and budgets convert at current rates.
- Transfers between your own accounts, including currency exchange, by voice too.
- Trip mode keeps a trip’s spending together, so you see what it cost in total.

FAQ
How many currencies does Monya support?
About 50, including USD, EUR, GBP, THB, JPY, INR, MXN and BRL.
Where do exchange rates come from?
Daily reference rates of the European Central Bank. The few currencies the ECB doesn’t publish are cross-converted through another central bank’s official rates. Rates update once a day; monthly reports use the rate at the end of the month.
Can I change my main currency later?
Yes, in Settings. Totals and budgets switch to the new currency; accounts keep their own.
Does it work offline while traveling?
No: entries are saved on the server, so recording needs a connection.
